As we live within and into our turbulent times, we are called to open our hearts to receive and learn how to hold the complex suffering that we are witnessing. Keeping humanity at the forefront of our view requires an unlearning of patterned conditioning, as well as a deep and vast opening of the heart into love and compassion. In this daylong retreat, we will learn to awaken a fierce and tender heart that can hold it all through the cultivation of mindfulness, compassion and lovingkindnesspractices. 

The container of a daylong meditation retreat offers a unique opportunity to slow down and connect to our own experience within a supportive, silent container. Deepen your practice in community, and give yourself the gift of a day spent quieting the mind and heart and allowing the innate wisdom and compassion that is our birthright to unfold and develop.

There will be periods of silent sitting and walking meditation with some instruction and guidance, a Dharma talk, and discussion.
